A floating cultural centre
The Bay Management Board describes the Cửa Vạn Floating Cultural Centre as a place presenting material about fishing communities. Objects and accounts of work help visitors picture livelihoods connected to the water, rather than seeing the bay as an empty landscape. The centre also appears in the board’s official route listings.
A community is not a prop
Living culture deserves respect. Ask before photographing residents, do not board a floating home without permission, and do not give things to children without consent. If a visit includes courtship singing or craft activities, listen to the guide explain who practises them and what they mean.
